  What is Indian Hair?

What is all the hoopla about Indian Hair extensions? The newest hair extension product in African American beauty salons today is Indian Hair. When I say it is hot, it is hot. Indian hair is appreciated by African American women because of its versatility. Indian hair can be worn straight with a natural curl pattern or curly with a deeper curl pattern. Both hair types can be flat ironed straight for a silky smooth look. It can be purchased at Shear Essence Products for a very reasonable price. Some of the competitors charge a lot more for Indian hair; however, it is the same exact product.

Actually I wear the hair myself, and I absolutely love it. I do not seem to want to wear anything else other than Indian hair. Usually, Indian hair is purchased raw; another more common name is virgin Indian hair. When I say raw, I mean cut from straight from the Indian woman's hair and shipped directly to the states. Nothing has been done to the hair when it is shipped. When we get it at Shear Essence Salon we simply shampoo, condition, and color the hair if needed.

Another reason the African American culture is driven to this hair because you can purchase the hair up to 36 inches long, tangle free. Now that's serious business when it comes to weaves and hair extensions.

So, if you have not tried Indian hair you may want to get on the band wagon. You are missing out!
